At Balance Wellness with Amy, I believe that everyone deserves to live a healthy and fulfilling life. I am committed to providing personalized coaching and support to help you achieve your goals and create sustainable habits.
Amy has a Master of Science in psychology with an emphasis on health from Grand Canyon University (GCU), a Bachelor of Science in nutrition with a concentration in health promotion from the University of Saint Francis (USF), and a Graduate Certificate of Completion in Life Coaching, from Grand Canyon University.
Amy will discuss strategies that will help motivate clients to reach their health and wellness goals , while working to improve their quality of life. Amy offers an empathetic sounding board to individuals seeking to enhance their nutritional health and wellness needs. Amy has a diverse background in community nutrition health promotion , and a mental and physical wellness foundation. She has experience in organizational leadership, management, and interpersonal relationships, making her a well-rounded partner in nutrition and wellness coaching.
Amy is fascinated by the mind-body-spirit connection and the integrative approach to wellness on both a personal and professional level. She loves helping others find a healthy and sustainable relationship with food, activity, and self-care. She embraces evidence-based competencies, skills, and tools grounded in established therapies from well-respected theories rooted in the psychology of change and well-being.
A Wellness and Nutrition coaching partnership is designed to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual client.
I will work with you one-on-one to help guide you through your wellness journey by facilitating a change process through visioning, goal setting, and accountability, which can lead to sustainable behavioral change. I encourage autonomy while guiding clients on a path that will promote pride in their achievements.
Wellness and Nutrition coaching provides skill building opportunities including autonomous motivation, an increased capacity to make healthy lifestyle changes, and increased personal responsibility. I can offer tools for learning new techniques for stress management, sustainable weight management, understanding the seven dimensions of wellness, allowing for self-growth and self-efficacy as each client walks through their wellness journey.
